Nebraska
We have enjoyed traveling through California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming and are currently in Nebraska. We are planning on spending about a week here and visiting Bry's Uncle and Aunt in Wahoo. We have learned that there are many dessert areas in the north and a lot of brown during the summer. We are looking forward to being somewhere with trees again and seeing green. Here in Nebraska we have seen many fields of hay and corn. We have enjoyed watching for deer and have seen many of them along the roadside. We are looking forward to reading your comments and seeing those who check our page.
Utah, we were expecting mountains and trees and green lands. We saw more brown and dry and dessert. Here is part of Antelope Island in The Great Salt Lake, which we didn't know existed. Along with the Great Salt Lake which is up to 8 times saltier than the ocean depending on location. There are areas of the lake that have four feet of salt on the bottom of the lake. It is so saltly that the only thing that lives in the lake in brine shrimp. Rivers and streams run into the lake but the lake has no outlets. The lake continues to get saltier each year.

Leann Rimes in concert. We took a side trip down to Jackpot, Nevada from Idaho to see a Leann Rimes concert. We enjoyed the concert and Bry also truely enjoyed the casino. It is great to have no time restraints. We saw a brochure for the concert so called and bought tickets. Side trip not planned but truely enjoyed.

Idaho Here We Come
We are currently in Pendleton, Oregon. We have enjoyed our visits to Oregon and Washington. We were able to spend a lot of time with Debbie, Brandon and Leslie while we stayed near their home in Jefferson, Oregon. We were blessed to have a lot of family together as Bry's Mom, Dad, Grandpa and Grandma were there part of the time we were visiting. We were able to be neighbors in the rv park in Albany.
After we said our good byes to our family we traveled up to Washington. We were able to see a lot of sights there and stayed very busy. We are now taking a couple of days to relax. We will be traveling to Idaho on Friday and staying in Payette, Idaho for about a week. We will be traveling there on Candi's birthday, Happy Birthday Candi, we love you. We sure are enjoying our journey. We love to read your comments when we get on line and visit our blog. Hope everyone is enjoying traveling with us through our blog site.

Seattle, Washington Space Needle We had the lunch that many could only dream of. We ate lunch in the restaurant on top of the Space Needle. The restaurant has as amazing view and the entire restaurant rotates so the view is changing throughout lunch. We leisurely ate our lunch and enjoyed every minute of our time at the space needle. The food was almost as good as the view. We even enjoyed a desert of erupting Mount Rainer. My ice cream was as much fun to watch as it was to eat.

Waterfall on the way up to Mt. Rainer. Just in keeping with the tradition, another waterfall. I love seeing all these waterfalls. Now I have posted one in each state. I know that won't be able to continue but I sure have enjoyed seeing these. God has created many beautiful sights for us to stop and enjoy on our journey.

Here is Mount Rainer, the opposite side of the mountain from were we stayed. Another beautiful mountain. This volcano hasn't erupted as recently as Mt. Saint Helens although it is a volcano. It was interesting to be driving down the streets in the area and see signs that say Volcano Evacuation Route. You don't see those in Bakersfield. July 25, 2005

Mount Rainer, Washinton We stayed at an RV park in Grahm and this was our view out of the back window of our RV. This was how the mountain looked one evening at sunset, which isn't until around ten pm. What a change for us. The mountain seemed to glow in the sunset. We drove up to the mountain the next day and enjoyed a close up view which I will also post. July 24, 2005 (Happy Birthday Mom)
