We are currently in Pendleton, Oregon. We have enjoyed our visits to Oregon and Washington. We were able to spend a lot of time with Debbie, Brandon and Leslie while we stayed near their home in Jefferson, Oregon. We were blessed to have a lot of family together as Bry's Mom, Dad, Grandpa and Grandma were there part of the time we were visiting. We were able to be neighbors in the rv park in Albany.
After we said our good byes to our family we traveled up to Washington. We were able to see a lot of sights there and stayed very busy. We are now taking a couple of days to relax. We will be traveling to Idaho on Friday and staying in Payette, Idaho for about a week. We will be traveling there on Candi's birthday, Happy Birthday Candi, we love you. We sure are enjoying our journey. We love to read your comments when we get on line and visit our blog. Hope everyone is enjoying traveling with us through our blog site.

Seattle, Washington Space Needle We had the lunch that many could only dream of. We ate lunch in the restaurant on top of the Space Needle. The restaurant has as amazing view and the entire restaurant rotates so the view is changing throughout lunch. We leisurely ate our lunch and enjoyed every minute of our time at the space needle. The food was almost as good as the view. We even enjoyed a desert of erupting Mount Rainer. My ice cream was as much fun to watch as it was to eat. ![Posted by Picasa](//photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif)

Waterfall on the way up to Mt. Rainer. Just in keeping with the tradition, another waterfall. I love seeing all these waterfalls. Now I have posted one in each state. I know that won't be able to continue but I sure have enjoyed seeing these. God has created many beautiful sights for us to stop and enjoy on our journey. ![Posted by Picasa](//photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif)

Here is Mount Rainer, the opposite side of the mountain from were we stayed. Another beautiful mountain. This volcano hasn't erupted as recently as Mt. Saint Helens although it is a volcano. It was interesting to be driving down the streets in the area and see signs that say Volcano Evacuation Route. You don't see those in Bakersfield. Mount Rainer, Washinton We stayed at an RV park in Grahm and this was our view out of the back window of our RV. This was how the mountain looked one evening at sunset, which isn't until around ten pm. What a change for us. The mountain seemed to glow in the sunset. We drove up to the mountain the next day and enjoyed a close up view which I will also post. July 24, 2005 (Happy Birthday Mom) ![Posted by Picasa](//photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif)

We spent an afternoon up at Mt. Saint Helens in Washington. Wow, what a sight to see, the devastion from 25 years ago and the small regrowth in the area. We drove up on a cloudy day and we were at the nearest viewing area and could not see the mountain through the clouds. We went into the visitor center and toured through it, as we came out God blew a clearing for us to see the volanco. It was clear for about five minutes, just long enough for me to snap some pictures and say "wow". We really enjoyed seeing the area. July 22, 2005 ![Posted by Picasa](//photos1.blogger.com/pbp.gif)

Crater Lake, Oregon
We went to Crater Lake, Oregon on July 8th. It was beautiful!! It is the deepest lake in the United States and the 7th deepest in the world. It is the bluest water I have ever seen. They do not allow any public use of the lake. The only boat is ran through the national park service and is battery powered. The lake will be this blue and beautiful for generations to come. Can you believe there was still snow on the ground near the lake? In July even. I couldn't decide which picture to post, I of course have over 50. So I posted three of our favorites. I will later delete the two with the least amount of comments and leave only one. So you guys get to pick which one I will leave on the blog. Have fun...we are.

We are in Oregon!
We are now in Grant's Pass, Oregon. We are staying in Jumpoff Joe Creek Waterfall RV Park. It is a small park and very quiet. It has natural swimming holes, a creek and a pretty waterfall. We arrived here on July 6th and we are staying until July 11th. We will be exploring and going to see Crater Lake while we are here. I have been able to enjoy the scenery as we have taken walks around the falls and creek. I have also had time to start my scrapbook of our trip, I am going to try to keep it current as we travel. We were able to spend time with all of our kids as we left California. That was a very nice treat for us. We also had Taylor spend the night with us one night in Petaluma. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and marshmellows over the campfire with her. She also enjoyed the parks petting zoo. We were able to watch Dustin race in Sonoma. That was very exciting and we are very glad we were able to go. We stayed close to Jimmy and Natalie so we were able to see a lot of them during that week. Jimmy now taught me how to use this blog. Thanks Jimmy! Tyler and Crystal were with us for a weekend in Yosemite but we still missed them being up here when the rest of us were together. Tyler had to work so we all understand. I will keep everyone posted on our whereabouts. Leave us comments so we know who has been here.
