Safely on the Ground Again

Here we are all four of us safely on the ground again after our helicopter tours. We all enjoyed this trip so much and even the two nervous ones, Candi and Natalie, had a good time. That a good look at that helicopter, isn't it small!! As Candi said before going up a kid with a bb gun could take it down. lol She is funny!! It was an adventure that was fun and amazing and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Don't we look cute in our matching jackets from our girls weekend. Our weekend was a lot of fun and something I would love to do again sometime.

Helicopter Tour

The helicopter was so much fun. We were able to see two whales, seals, two dolphins, and so much beautiful coastline all with a fabulous view. Here is one of the helicopter taking off with Candi and Crystal in it. The other is Yaquina Head Lighthouse ariel view.

Here we all are in the helicopter. Candi and Crystal rode together and Natalie and I rode together. Candi and Natalie were both nervous about going up and so we paired up with one nervous girl and one excited girl each trip. The trip was so fun and I loved it!!!

Tidepools

Exploring Tidepools

We spent one morning exploring tidepools at Yaquina Head State Park. These tidepools are amazing. So much life in them, I could stay and watch them all day (if it wasn't for the fact that the tide would come in). Candi and Natalie enjoyed them also.

Mother Daughter Moments

These were taken during our girls weekend. Sorry there isn't one of Crystal and I, she spent her weekend driving back and forth because she had to work at both Costco and church during the weekend but we were very happy she was able to join us for parts of the weekend. The picture of Candi and I was taken at Yaquina Bay State Park and the one of Natalie and I was taken at the Yaquina Head State Park while we were exploring the tidepools.

Yaquina Bay State Park

These were taken from Yaquina Bay State Park in Newport, Oregon. A wonderful view of the ocean and of the Yaquina Bay Bridge.

Beautiful Oregon Coast Sunset

These were taken from South Beach State Park in Newport, Oregon. It was a beautiful sunset with the fishing boats coming in for the night. We walked the beach at sunset and loved the wonderful view God blessed us with.

Newport

We now have the rv over at the coast!! Friday Bryant and I drove the rv over to Newport. We spent our day enjoying walking through the historic district then relaxing at the rv playing cards and reading. Friday evening Jimmy and Natalie drove over and then Jimmy and Bryant drove back to Albany for work over the weekend. Natalie and I stayed in Newport. We went up to Lincoln City to shop the outlet mall. No surprise there, Natalie and I together usually ends up with a shopping trip. Then on Sunday we toured the two lighthouses of Newport and enjoyed the beautiful Oregon coastline. We went to Cape Foulweather and Devil's punchbowl. Here are a few of our coastline pictures to share the beauty of Oregon with you. We also saw a bald eagel at the Yaquina Head State Park. He was perched in a tree at the coast a few hundred feet away from the lighthouse. What an amazing sight. Hope everyone enjoys the pictures of our coastline as much as we enjoy the coastline itself.
