Newport, Oregon
Just letting our friends and family know that on Friday, June 1st we will be taking the RV over to Newport, Oregon. We are going to have it there for the summer months so that we can go back and forth and enjoy the beautiful Oregon coastline. We also want to invite our family and friends to join us when you can. Just give us a call and we would love to share the Oregon coast with you. It is wonderful!! The first company planned is a girls weekend for the weekend of Father's Day. Candi will be flying up and we will have fun at the coast for the weekend. We have a helicopter tour planned for the Saturday while she is here. Then back to Albany on Sunday for an evening with more family, guys included, for bowling and Applebee's. Then she flies home on Monday. :( Bryant will be enjoying his Dad and Uncle Steve while they will all be in the Bahama's together on a scuba trip. I will post pictures up after the trip. Looking forward to seeing Candi!!!! I miss her!! :(

Iris Fields
Iris Fields in Keizer, Oregon. Jimmy and I took a short drive up to Keizer, about 20 miles north of home to visit the Iris fields. What a beautiful sight. We enjoyed walking around the gardens and looking at all the different varities of Iris'. I didn't know there were so many different types. My favorties were the Over Alaska (which is dark purple bottom and light purple top) and the Supreme Sultan (which is a burgandy bottom and a golden top). There were miles and miles of Iris fields and acres of beautiful displays of Iris gardens. It is so wonderful to take a short drive on a nice sunny day and see such beautiful sights!! I love Oregon!!

It is Tulip Festival Time again in Woodburn Oregon. Bryant & I went and this year we took Jimmy & Natalie with us. Here are a couple of pictures of our day. The day was wonderful we caught one of the few days that it wasn't raining and the tulips were absoleulty beautiful!! I didn't get a picture with my husband in it this year....still camera shy after all these years but I am getting a few now and then. I am hoping that next year our landscaping is finished and I can plant some tulips for home. If I do I will have to post a few pictures of them next year along with the festival pictures. Hope you all enjoy the tulips....I will always think of my Grandpa when I see the tulips. That is a big part of what makes them so special. :)
Here we are!

Here we are!! We were getting ready to leave to go see cousin David's play while he was in Portland. We went with Tyler and Crystal to Keller Auditorium to see The Light in The Pizazza starrring our own David Burnham. What a fun evening. He was wonderful. If we didn't know him so well we would have been seriously thinking he was italian.
