Jayden posing for the camera, Taylor wearing my boots and proud Mommy Candi with the kids!! What an achievement, college graduation while raising two children, good thing she has Dustin and his family helped a lot with the kids during her schooling. Way to go Candi!!!!!!!! And aren't my grandkids cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was a few months ago but better late than never! Candi has graduated from college and is now working in a law office in Bakersfield. She is a paralegal and is loving her new career. I flew down for a few days for her graduation and loved visiting. The trip was too short but I enjoyed the time I had there. I am actually going back down soon for a wedding at the end of this month. Once again it will be a quick trip, I will be in Bakersfield for one day and California City for one day and then flying back home.
We had a wonderful Christmas day with most of our family together. We missed Dustin, Candi, Taylor and Jayden so of course no pictures of them. We had an early morning start for our Christmas day. I just couldn't sleep or stay in bed any longer than 6:30. Some people just never grow up, especially at Christmas. After our morning at home with Jimmy, Natalie and my Mom we went over to Debbie, Brandon and Leslie's house (Bry's sister and kids) for an early Christmas dinner. Then after a couple of hours we went over to Tyler and Crystal's for their Christmas open house. They were excited about having everyone over to their house for Christmas and we have a great time. There was plenty of food and we enjoyed playing games for the afternoon. Leslie's boyfriend Johnny had us all laughing so hard we cried. It was a lot of fun and I am lucky to have children and family so close. Here are a few pictures of our Christmas day. I hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas also.
Jimmy and I took my Mom up to see McDowell Creek falls. It was a beautiful sunny day and we thought we would get out and enjoy the sunshine. The waterfalls were so full and pretty. Standing on the bridge viewing the waterfalls you could feel the mist from the waterfall. It was a fun afternoon and we all enjoyed ourselves. You can look back to the pictures I posted of the falls during the summer and really see the difference from summer to winter in the waterfall.
Just posting a couple of pictures of our house on January 11, 2007. We love this snow, it is so pretty to watch it come down and a welcome change from the usual Oregon rain. Isn't it beautiful!!!
I am 47 years old and live in California. I have the best husband I could ever imagine and have been happily married for 29 years. He is the love of my life and helps make me who I am. I am Mom to six grown children. Three of which I gave birth to and raised. Three of which my children choose to add to the family through marriage. I have three wonderful grandkids, Taylor, Jayden and Logan. Candi, Dustin, Taylor and Jayden live in Bakersfield. Jimmy & Natalie live in Albany, Oregon. Tyler, Crystal and our newest grandbaby Logan also live in Albany.
